Week 22: Expository Text, Science Tools, Problem Solving, 100th Day, Valentine's Day, Legoland, and Book Fair
What a busy fun week we have in store for you this week! We start off with a bang with the 100th Day of School on Monday where we will celebrate everything we have learned in 100 days of Kindergarten complete with a 100th Day Fashion Show. Then, we will enjoy the Valentine's Day excitement with a Valentine's Day party where we will exchange Valentine cards. We will also review some of our math and science skills during our celebration by sorting and graphing Valentine conversation hearts, using a hand lens to participate in a heart matching activity, and an opportunity to explore windsocks. Finally, we will complete our week with an exciting field trip to Legoland where we will kick off our Systems PBL by exploring tall towers and spinning tops.
